You found me.
Now you want to know more, huh?
Here are the deets.
From the Lady Who Thinks She’s In Charge’s Character Profile.
Given Name: Fleur Moynihan (she sometimes spells her last name Monaghan or Monahan to avoid association with her biological family)
Club Name: Midnight Fleur
Gender: Female
Age: approx 32 (Fleur’s exact age is unknown - her mother gave birth at home, while she was part of a cult, and Fleur’s birth was not registered with the State of New York for several years until after Fleur’s mother was expelled from yet another cult and needed to enroll Fleur in school)
Physical characteristics: 5’ 9 ½”; straight, black hair usually worn long down her back (although she’s handy with a curling iron and rollers and often curls her hair); blue eyes that tip up at the corners; pixie-ish features (pointed chin, small nose); small, natural breasts; muscular dancer’s body with long legs; swollen knuckles (hands); gnarly feet
History:
Fleur was born in Hell’s Kitchen and has lived in Manhattan or New York State most of her life
Her mother is a sociopath. After her own horrific childhood S.A., Fleur’s mother became a sex worker, capitalising on her childlike looks (she’s shorter than her daughter with black hair, green eyes, and an overlarge head). She drifted in and out of several cults (lay and religious including flirting with more mainstream ones like Hare Krishna and Opus Dei), abused all of her children, probably killed her first husband (although the case against her was dropped for lack of evidence), and is currently masquerading as a philanthropic, church-going lady
Fleur was a beautiful child. Her mother capitalized on her beauty by entering her into the child beauty pageant circuit and dragging her to modeling jobs. Fleur was S.A.-ed from a young age by scouts, “agents” and older models. Fleur’s mother starved her to keep her artificially skinny as she entered her teens. Fleur didn’t menstruate until she was 15 as a result of being severely underweight; she still has irregular periods. Fleur started dance training young and although she loved it, was held to a physically rigorous training schedule by her mother despite developing a number of injuries. Fleur learned to smile through pain
Fleur’s mother sold off her daughter’s virginity to a talent scout (for a spot in a TV series that didn’t materialize) when Fleur was 13 and pimped her to men in the modeling and TV industry
Fleur had a psychotic break in her late teens. She attacked her mother and stepfather, choking her mother so badly that her mother needed surgery to repair her windpipe and vertebra. Fleur’s stepfather beat her off her mother with a baseball bat, breaking fingers in both of her hands and leaving her with long-term nerve damage. Fleur still has difficulty holding small, smooth objects
Fleur was institutionalized after the attack both to protect her family and to keep her from self-harming. Fleur never returned home and is completely estranged from her family
After a year, Fleur was released from the institution and moved out on her own to a sublet in Hell’s Kitchen. She worked three jobs to support herself until she found Blunts. Without any understanding of how to manage her finances (since her mother had kept all the money Fleur earned as a child and teen), Fleur racked up a huge amount of credit card debt
Fleur admitted her financial distress to the Blunts Doms. Javier, Cris, and Franco stepped in to help her resolve her debt before she was made bankrupt; she’s learned how to manage her money and has developed an interest in different investment strategies since that time. Before her injury, Fleur did administrative work for Cris, the club’s Master of Coin, to help manage the club’s investments, when she wasn’t dancing in the nightclub. She’s started developing an in cryptocurrency (downloading her reading list is what got Myles interested in it) and commodities futures (especially gold)
Fleur has her own apartment in Hell’s Kitchen that she’s lived in since she left the institution. She has a good relationship with the landlord who treats her like a daughter. She’s lived with Cappa as both her lover and her roommate (with benefits) at various times, but it’s always been her apartment that he moved into. Fleur needs the security of having her own space
Fleur joined Blunts when she was questionably legal (skirting the age requirement due to the uncertainty of her birth date) and has “grown up” with the Blunts Doms: they have shaped her self-image and adult personality, although she still considers herself a work in progress. Masters Javier, Franco, Cris, and Nico have encouraged her to finish her education (she got a GED when she was in her late 20s) and explore any creative avenue that interested her. Fleur didn’t learn to read until she was in middle school and then books became her best friends; she’s a very active reader and will retreat and curl up with a book for escape whenever she feels overwhelmed
Fleur knows she’s objectively beautiful, but hates being reminded of it. Her entire value to her biological family arose from her beauty; her childhood abuse stemmed from her physical appeal. She dislikes compliments about her appearance (Ten is particularly guilty of this). She wants to be loved for her heart and spirit, regardless of her external beauty, and is sometimes put off by comments about her physical appearance. She role-plays this with Javier and Cris on occasion, wearing masks and wigs or otherwise altering her appearance, so they focus on her personality
Although she puts little stock in her own beauty, Fleur tries to “beautify” the world around her. She finds beauty in small, common things, even monstrous things, and brings out their inner beauty (making monsters into objects of pleasure, etc.). She’s proud of these efforts, including growing orchids in her inner-city apartment
Fleur was trained by Logan’s predecessor and Logan (her training period was longer than most). She’s a masochist and service submissive. Initially, she had no ability to set limits. The Blunts Doms have worked with her on this and she has set some limits, but when pushed on them, Fleur caves in order to please her Dom. As Ten has observed, her submission can be cold and grudging, but it’s bottomless
Fleur shared her childhood trauma with the Blunts Doms as part of her training. Although she had extensive therapy while institutionalized, the Blunts Doms also hooked her up with a therapist specializing in childhood sexual abuse. Fleur believes in therapy and uses a lot of therapeutic techniques to deal with lingering issues from her childhood and current challenges. She suffers from particular anxiety about financial security and financial decisions, but knows the Blunts Doms will support her
Fleur’s role at the club is in transition. When she started at the club, she was hired as a principal nightclub dancer and choreographer. After Cappa joined the club, they partnered very successfully, including doing burlesque performances that are still talked about. Fleur became part of the “nightclub subs” (Skye, Zuki, Brenna, Cappa, Hunter, and less often, Apple). Although not as strong a clique as Rachel’s group, the nightclub subs were very friendly with each other and socialized outside of Blunts frequently
Fleur has always felt closest to Brenna and Cappa, although she’s friendly with all the house subs (other than Rachel’s clique, who often belittle Fleur for her lack of money and education). She’s had some friction over the years with Skye, who sees herself as the head of the “nightclub subs.” Fleur adores Queen Twitch and is very friendly with Moon
With the exception of Rachel, Briar Rose, and Lucy (Fleur has a deep antipathy for teachers, particularly teachers of young children, having been thoroughly failed by the teachers in her own life who failed to recognize and report the abuse she was suffering), Fleur is kind and thoughtful toward all around her: lovers, friends, and strangers. She always puts the needs of others ahead of her own needs, often to her own detriment
Fleur has scened with all of the Blunts Doms and Dommes. Although she seeks out men for romantic relationships, she’s bisexual in terms of her sexual preference. She prefers not to scene with Master Guy (who loves medical play) and Mistress Stephanie (who Fleur feels judges her), but will if pushed. She’s done regular scenes for years with Chess (before he became exclusive with his former wife), Cris, Nico, Franco, Javier, Logan, Rob, Ten, and Theo; she’s scared of Karl (like most subbies) but loves his brand of insanity
Fleur’s been involved outside of Blunts with a number of Doms, both Blunts Doms and Doms she met elsewhere. The first Dom to collar Fleur was Perry, a Blunts Dom, when she’d worked at Blunts for less than 3 years. They were involved for over two years until Perry’s family drove them apart after discovering Fleur’s personal history. Perry moved to Sacrum and Fleur is still in touch with him as a friend; she doesn’t have hard feelings about Perry and rarely thinks about him
Most recently, Fleur was collared by Nigel, a Dom she met outside of Blunts. Nigel offered Fleur financial security but actually turned out to be financially unstable himself. They argued about money, politics, and Fleur’s desire to have her own business. Nigel became physically abusive during these fights and shoved her, resulting in a fall off steps that broke her ankle
Fleur is quite “crafty”; she has natural talent with handicrafts and can do anything from decoupage to knitting (although she has trouble holding the needles if they’re too small). She often makes her own dance costumes and loves to stick rhinestones on anything that stays still long enough. She can’t do hand sewing, but she’s found ways around that machines. Her clothes, although inexpensive, are always tailored and embellished. She’s a Romantic Goth by style
While rehabilitating her ankle, Fleur turned her hobby of silicon casting into a small business, making silicon toys. Fleur has always had a fascination with monsters and her toys are “monstrous” (flanges, fangs, tentacles, etc). She names them after biblical demons
Although Blunts initially supported her toy business, it’s grown far beyond the club (due to Fleur’s hard work promoting it on social media) and Fleur ships her monsters to customers all over the world
Fleur has complex relationships with Javier, Cappa, and Ten. She loves them each in their own way and has had long-term relationships with all of them, but side-steps committed romantic relationships. After Perry, Fleur refuses to be anything less than someone’s Miss Right. If she’s going to trust her heart to a Dom, she wants them to be her hero, to fight for her, to put her first, to burn down the world for her. She won’t accept anything less and as a result, avoids deep entanglements with Doms who aren’t “all in” with her from the start, even while she mourns that they’re not The One (particularly Javier, who she views as the perfect Dom)
Fleur has a slight allergy to tomatoes, but it doesn’t keep her from enjoying pasta puttanesca at the Trattoria. She deals with the mouth ulcers without complaint. She has a healthy metabolism and eats well, having been trained by Master Javier to enjoy food. Nigel controlled her food, claiming he didn’t want a “fat wife”; it was one of the many things Fleur and Nigel argued over
Fleur had started to return to dancing in the nightclub two nights per week as her ankle recovered fully when she was abducted by the Wolfpack
Loves and hates:
Fleur has good eyesight and a strong sense of smell, but less than perfect hearing from repeated ear infections when she was a child (she particularly has trouble hearing very high tones). She likes listening to music, particularly male singers with their lower ranges, melodic guitar, and big, booming orchestral pieces. She admits she can’t sing but likes to sing around the house when she’s alone
Fleur loves dance movies (from Singing In the Rain to Dirty Dancing); strong tea; dance wear (leg warmers, tights, bralettes, oversized sweaters); fingerless gloves (she wears them even in summer); things that other people find scary and unloveable
Fleur likes blues, greens, purples and, of course, black. She avoids wearing icy blues, pinks, and orange due to her time on the pageant circuit. She draws a distinction between anything “frosted” (which reminds her horribly of the eye shadow and lipstick her mother used on her) and chrome/chunky glitter - she wears mixed metals, big rings (to get over her swollen knuckles), and is pierced pretty much everywhere (although she rarely wears more than stud earrings so she doesn’t have to take off a lot of jewelry before scenes). Her favorite piece of jewelry is a long string of onyx beads that she loops around her body. Even now that she’s financially stable, she’s very frugal and will always buy second-hand where she can; she likes going “thrifting” and once she discovers that Cynnie and Emmy do, too, she joins them in their shopping expeditions through SoHo
Fleur will dance at any opportunity. She dances around the house, she loves going to nightclubs to dance, she used to hunt down flash mobs to dance with them. Out of loyalty to Blunts, she doesn’t dance professionally anywhere else, but she has offered her choreography to some local theater companies
Fleur likes smells that don’t remind her of her childhood: nature smells (petrichor, oakmoss, pine/spruce/juniper) and the scents of Blunts (leather, clean sweat, the bite of alcohol and acidity of lemons, the muskiness of old wallpaper; floor polish). She particularly dislikes vanilla since that’s what her mother used to wear as perfume and use as incense (although she differentiates between vanilla and vanillin, which is the smell of old paper). Fleur’s own perfume is Sisley Eau de Campagne she wears it sparingly given that she sweats when she’s dancing and doing scenes and doesn’t want to overpower her partners with her perfume
Unlike her friend Brenna, Fleur isn’t a huge fan of cut flowers - she prefers plants/growing things
Fleur learned good nutrition during her time in the institution when they broke her off the starvation diet she’d been on for years and mostly eats healthily, but sometimes gives into her craving for junk food
Are you still here? Haven’t you heard enough about me?
Well, I guess you can have a little more.
This is an interview I gave someone once.
Q: You have relationships with multiple Doms and a friends-with-benefits relationship with Cappa. How do you balance these relationships?
Fleur: I love them all differently. I don't look at Javier, Theo, and Ten and see “Dom.” Or at Cappa and see “sometimes Dom.” (Laugh.) I look at them and see Javier, who always knows the right thing to say, and Theo, who makes me laugh no matter what terrifying scene we've just done. I'm super-close to Cappa and Ten right now because they're supporting me as I recover from the Wolfpack's attack. So I'm giving them more time and attention. But I wouldn't ever ignore the other Blunts Doms. Like they'd let me!
I'm still figuring out how to balance everything, particularly given the strong personalities around me, while maintaining my independence. It's a journey, but something I've learned in the wake of the Wolfpack's attack is that it's okay to need people. It doesn't make me weak or broken.
Q: What inspired you to create your “scary boys”?
Fleur: I've always had a thing for monsters. They scare me, sure, but there's also a crazy sense of safety in knowing what's lurking in the dark, in seeing the shape of it, smelling its breath, feeling its skin and fur and fangs. I think one of my earliest fantasies was being grabbed by the monster under my bed and dragged under there with it. You can imagine what happened from there! Bringing those fantasies to life, dragging the monsters out of the dark into the light and making them tools for pleasure is empowering. How can I be scared of something that can give me multiple orgasms?!
Q: Do you channel your emotions and experiences into your “scary boys”?
Fleur: Yes, absolutely! Each of my scary boys is highly individual, with a name and history. Abraxas was my first scary boy. I remember having nightmares about this vulture-like monster who would perch at the end of my bed. His tongue would slither out of his beak, over my sheets, and just before it would touch my exposed face, I’d wake up with a jolt. Now Abraxas’ tongue slithers other places and results in me melting! I love taking that old fear and turning it into something delightful, something I control to give me exactly the pleasure I want. Something that ultimately gives me relaxation and peace.
Q: As someone who has survived abuse and trauma, what advice would you give to women who are trying to reclaim their sexuality?
Fleur: Be unafraid. My experiences, particularly my early experiences as an adolescent, made me ashamed of my needs and desires. A lot of things were taken from me, including my ability to consent. There are still sexual images of me out in the world doing things I didn’t want to do. Sometimes strangers recognize me from those videos and pictures, which can be humiliating if they’re unkind about it. But my experience at Blunts has taught me that I’m not a freak. My desires might not be mainstream, but they’re not all that unusual, either. There’s no reason for me to be ashamed of them. There’s no reason for me to hide.
I draw a tarot card every day to help me focus. Today’s card is perfect for this question. It was the Ten of Swords reversed. This is the card that calls you into the light, up out of your death pose. Stand up straight. Face the world with pride. Take care of yourself and choose activities that nourish you. That’s what I intend to do every day, starting with being unafraid to name and demand satisfaction for my needs. Even if I do it on my knees.

You really need to find someone else to st@lk.
I already have enough st@lkers in my life. Go read some of the books.
And keep an eye open for my girl Charlotte’s book. Sh!t going down, that’s all I’ll say.
